Tyler has been a vital part of the Charles Wright Academy community since 1995, currently serving as Athletic Director. His journey at CWA began as the Lower School P.E. Teacher and Upper School Head Coach for boys basketball and baseball.

Originally from Maple Valley, Washington, Tyler earned his B.A. in Physical Education from Pacific Lutheran University and completed his M.A. in Coaching and Athletics Administration at Concordia Lutheran Irvine. He has also participated in the NAIS Athletic Directors National Conference.

With extensive experience in recreation programs and sports officiating, Tyler values the daily opportunity to connect with students, whether through teaching P.E., supervising recess, or sharing lunch. “I love working alongside students every day and being part of their growth both on and off the field.”
