Talia joins Charles Wright having spent her career serving high school students in various roles in the secondary education system as a tutor, teacher, coach, and school counselor. Inspired by the school’s mission, she looks forward to providing knowledge, resources, and support to ensure that all CWA students embark upon the journey to their best possible post-secondary fit with confidence. Talia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with secondary teaching certification in social studies from Gonzaga University and a Master of Arts in School Counseling from the University of Denver. As a college counselor, she brings a deep understanding of adolescent cognitive, academic, social, and emotional development that influences students as they prepare for life beyond graduation. She is passionate about helping students understand how these areas relate to them personally as they take ownership of who they are, and who they hope to be, as young adults. An avid sports fan, Talia and her family enjoy rooting on their favorite teams, a pastime most exuberantly expressed during college basketball season (Go Zags!). In her free time you can find Talia working on her golf game in hopes of keeping up with her husband and two young sons on the course.
