Steve joined Charles Wright Academy in 2022 as Director of Enrollment Management, bringing over a decade of experience in independent school admissions, enrollment, and student programming.

Prior to CWA, Steve worked at Eastside Catholic School in Sammamish, WA, where he was a key member of the admissions and financial aid team. His work included overseeing international student admissions, leading the transportation program, and facilitating global engagement efforts such as a Sister City Exchange Program initiative with Hou Kong Premier School in Macau. He also advised the award-winning Interact Club Peace Pole Project for District 5030.

Originally from Fresno, California, Steve holds a B.A. in Economics and an Accounting Certificate from the University of Washington, and a Master’s in Education with a focus in Enrollment Management Practice and Policy from the University of Southern California.

Steve’s professional development includes leadership roles and participation in national conferences and workshops through the Enrollment Management Association, Independent School Management, USC’s Center for Enrollment Research, Policy, and Practice, and NAIS.

He is passionate about the transformative impact of education: “What I’ve loved most in my career is seeing students grow—from the day they arrive to graduation and beyond—and witnessing how their school experience helps shape their journey.”
