First joining CWA in 2023 and returning in 2025, Muhammad brings a passion for problem-solving, collaboration, and purposeful innovation in P–12 education.

He oversees all aspects of the school’s technology program—from instructional support and digital learning strategies to systems operations and policy development. His mission is to help educators and students use technology in practical, empowering, and intentional ways that foster healthy and successful learning experiences.

Originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota, Muhammad earned a B.A. in Psychology and an M.Ed. in Social Studies Education from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, along with a teaching license for grades 5–12. In 2019, he completed a graduate program in Information Technology at the University of Cincinnati.

Muhammad is a board member of ATLIS (Association of Technology Leaders in Independent Schools) and a frequent attendee at national and regional conferences, including ATLIS, the NAIS Annual Conference, the NWAIS Educators Conference, and the PNW Black Male Academic Achievement Conference.

“I love working with people,” Muhammad says. “Whether teaching or leading, the most rewarding part of my job is helping others find solutions and grow. I especially enjoy the energy of a P–12 campus, seeing the full range of student experiences and personalities is what makes this work so inspiring.”
