Colleen joined Charles Wright Academy in 2020 as the Associate Director of Development and has since transitioned to leading the Auxiliary Programs department. With a lifelong passion for the nonprofit sector beginning as a summer camp counselor at age 16, Colleen brings deep experience in programming, fundraising, graphic and print design, and organizational leadership across education, animal welfare, and the arts.

Originally from Seattle, Colleen holds a BFA in Photography from Emily Carr Institute and an MFA in Arts Administration from Seattle University.

Colleen has held executive and leadership roles at various nonprofit organizations and co-founded a micro publishing company. She’s a dedicated lifelong learner, always seeking out opportunities to grow personally and professionally.

At CWA, Colleen finds joy in working with students across all divisions, whether refereeing games on the playground, guiding after-school enrichment, or mentoring high schoolers stepping into leadership as summer camp counselors. “I love watching students discover and grow their passions. No two days are the same, and every day I learn something new from them.”
